Webmasters Tips - Sale Tips One Way to Keep or Attract Customers When purchasing anything, it is rare to get an unexpected bonus. Whether it is a coupon, a small freebie, or even unusally good customer service, a surprise bonus will usually leave a customer feeling good. Some customers may forget extras, but others will remember their good fortune. These people may recommend one's products and services. While it is economical to cut back on surprises, consider adding them at times. If it seems appropriate, advertise bonuses much like sales. An unadvertised bonus may be the most surprising, and may get customers' attention more than anything else. Copyright © 2000 - 2006 by [Webcraft.ws]. All rights reserved. | How can anyone compete with all those web sites? Yes, it does seem impossible, but you truly can compete with them. All you need is quality content. Quality content is truly the king of the internet, if it's used correctly. Why is it that content is king? Most web sites lack quality content. Which is a major weakness of theirs and as with any weakness an enemy has you should attack it. We already know you can out spend big businesses and beat them that way. But you can compete with the big boys with great content. Content isn't hard to create despite what you may have been told. Content is what keeps visitors around your web site longer and it keeps them coming back time after time. They are far more likely to tell a friend about it because helpful content allows internet surfers to learn, which as you probably already know, is the key to being successful in life. Content is what makes your web site helpful and interesting. Most of the time before a Internet surfer buys a product or service they'll research it. If you write articles about things that are related to your product or service, they'll be far more likely to buy from your business because your business becomes known as an expert through the articles you write. And few internet surfers will specifically look for the product or service. Having a web site with great and informative information will make other web site owners far more likely to link to your web site. Think about it! Would you link to a web site that just had their products and service web pages? Or would you link to a web site that has great content that helps your visitors? If your like most you go with the last one because it makes your web site more useful. Not only will the links bring in extra free traffic to your web site, but will also help your web site's ranking in the search engines. Search engines such as Google, Teoma (Ask Jeeves) and Yahoo use link popularity to measure how popular a web site is. The theory is that the more web sites that link to you the more useful your content, services or products must be. What is quality content? It's very difficult to say what quality content is. What one person may see has great content, may look like garbage to an another person. Quality content needs to be informative, helpful and creative. Avoid putting your opinion in it or making it personal, the readers should be able to decide for their self whether they like it or not. There should lots of text breaks and the sentences need to be short. Don't use those big words. Instead keep it simple and easy to read. Don't add unnecessary words or sentences, get to the point. Keep the content focused on the main subject of that page, otherwise you just wasted someone's time. People what it to be fast and easy to read, they won't waste their time for you.
