And everybody expects Very Good Service - So naturally this means that we have to provide much more than just Great Service! Scary isn't it? This means that even if you deliver exactly what you promise most clients will be merely satisfied - not delighted. And mere satisfaction never led anybody to spontaneously break out into a song and a dance about your product.

Questions to answer and things to do: What simple thing can you add to your product or service that would take your customer by surprise and make them think they are scoring and getting more than they paid for? Add it to your service! And don't tell them about it. You see if you tell them that they will be getting it they factor that in to the price they are paying and when they get it they expect to get it. So they won't even blink twice. So, right now, think about something that you give with your service already. Then decide NOT to tell them about it but STILL GIVE it to them with the product as a bonus. Or if there is nothing that you can't not tell them think of something else small that you can give them that will be a surprise for them. And do it. The world is full of people who stumble around grumbling "if only......". Don't be one of those.
